illustrator over several fields including
magazine artwork, book covers, children's
books and scientific illustration. She has
worked in the U.K., New Zealand and most

"Although my art career has been diverse
there are common threads that run through.
A love of detail and natural pattern. The
realization of clarity in a story told well
visually, and the exploration of media and
techniques involved in the art of painting."
I love working in the botanical art world.
I am part of an international community
that includes artists, institutions and
collectors of contemporary botanical art.
The genre itself has had a surprising revival
recently. Perhaps influenced by current
environmental concerns and a new interest
in classical materials and techniques".
